JACKSON COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will conduct various closures on Holmes Road, U.S. 50 and I-70 in Jackson County for pavement repair work. All work is weather permitting and dates are approximate. See below for traffic modifications.
Thursday, October 1 at 7 p.m. until Friday, October 2 at 6 a.m.
- Crews will conduct full ramp closure from Holmes Rd to I-435 WB.
- Crews will conduct single lane closure on U.S. 50 WB above Chipman Road.
Friday, October 2 at 8 p.m. until Saturday, October 3 at 6 a.m.
- Crews will close the ramp from I-70 WB to I-670 WB at Charlotte Street.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
