CASS COUNTY – Starting today, the Missouri Department of Transportation will reduce northbound I-49 between Archie, MO and MO Route 7 (where Route 7 heads south towards Clinton, MO) to ONE lane daily from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. This daily lane closure will occur until Friday, Nov. 1. This lane closure is for asphalt resurfacing. Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead and find an alternate route if necessary. All work is weather permitting.
For potential impacts to traffic, please review KC Scout cameras at http://www.kcscout.net or consult our real-time traffic partner, WAZE.
Please remember that all work zones are NO PHONE zones. Buckle up. Phone down. Arrive Alive. Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
