SCHEDULE CHANGED: Lane Closures on I-435 Between Three Trails Crossing and State Line Road April 30

JACKSON COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation has canceled and  rescheduled several lane closures on both eastbound and westbound I-435 from the State Line to Three Trails Crossing this week as part of the South Loop Link Project. See the revised schedule below. All work is weather permitting.

Tuesday, April 30:

  • CANCELLED: Crews will be closing one lane of the expressway along eastbound I-435 from Blue River to Three Trails Crossing beginning at 6:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. for pavement construction.
  • CANCELLED: Additionally, crews will close one lane of the expressway along westbound I-435 from Holmes Road to Wornall beginning at 10 a.m. until 7 p.m.

Wednesday, May 1:

  • Crews will close the right lane of the expressway along eastbound I-435 from just past Blue River to Three Trails Crossing starting at 6:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. for pavement work.
  • Crews will close one lane of the expressway along westbound I-435 from Holmes Road to Wornall beginning at 10 a.m. until 7 p.m.
  • RESCHEDULED: Crews will close the left lanes of the expressway along westbound I-435 from Three Trails Crossing to State Line Road beginning at 7:30 p.m. until 5 a.m. the following morning. This closure is for joint replacement work on the Blue River Bridge and a bridge deck pour on the Wornall bridge. This work will now take place on Thursday, May 2.
  • Crews will close two lanes of the expressway along eastbound I-435 from 104th Street to Three Trails Crossing for pavement work from 7:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning.

Thursday, May 2:

  • Crews will close the right lane of the expressway along eastbound I-435 from just past Blue River to Three Trails Crossing starting at 6:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. for pavement work.
  • Crews will close one lane of eastbound I-435 at State Line Road starting at 6:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. for pavement work.
  • Crews will close one lane of the expressway along westbound I-435 from Holmes Road to Wornall beginning at 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. Crews also plan to conduct the Wornall bridge deck pour at this time.
  • Crews will close two lanes of the expressway along eastbound I-435 from 104th Street to Three Trails Crossing for pavement work from 7:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning.

Friday, May 3:

  • Crews will close one lane of eastbound I-435 at State Line Road starting at 6:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. for pavement work.
  • Crews will close two lanes of eastbound I-435 from State Line Road to Wornall Road starting at 7:30 p.m. until 7 a.m. the following morning for pavement work.

This work is part of the I-435 South Loop Link project which will replace the bridges at Wornall and Holmes, rehabilitate the bridges at 104th Street and the Blue River, upgrade the pavement on I-435 which includes adding another lane.
