Sullivan County West Fork Locust Creek Bridge Project Set to Begin

HARRIS, Mo. – The Route ZZ bridge over the West Fork of Locust Creek has been a pathway for Sullivan County motorists since 1961. A bridge deck replacement project will be led by contractors from Chester Bross Construction Company, working with the Missouri Department of Transportation. Crews plan to close the bridge Wednesday, May 8, with a planned reopening in early July. Motorists will need to use an alternate route during the closure.

All work is weather permitting and schedules are subject to change. MoDOT encourages all motorists to slow down, buckle up, eliminate distractions and drive safely to ensure everyone is able to Arrive Alive.
