BNSF Railroad Crossing Planned to Close on Macon County Route J and Missouri Route 149

MACON - Weather permitting, BNSF will close the following routes in Macon County to make necessary railroad repairs. Please see the dates and locations below.  

Missouri Route 149 - May 7-8, railroad crossing will be closed, located 500 feet south of Macon County Route F in Ethel, while repairs are made. The crossing will close at 8:00 a.m. on May 7 and reopen at 5:00 p.m. on May 8. 

Macon County Route J - May 8, railroad crossing will be closed, located 0.50 mile west of Macon County Route HH, while repairs are made. The work will be completed between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. that day.

Motorists will need to use alternate routes during these times. Always obey all work zone signs and personnel, and put down your cell phone to help eliminate distractions.
