Benton County – The Benton County Route B bridge over Indian Creek south of Cole Camp will be CLOSED for up to 90 days beginning the week of May 13, the Missouri Department of Transportation said.
Contractor crews will replace the old, single-lane bridge with a new two-lane structure, which will be four feet wider and one foot higher than the current bridge.
Drivers can get to entrances on either side of the bridge. However, they will not be able to cross the bridge during construction.
Signs and message boards will alert drivers to the bridge closing.
Drivers will be directed to a signed detour, using Missouri Route 52 and Benton County Route W to get around the construction project.
