MoDOT to hold informational public meeting to discuss Riverview safety project

ST. LOUIS – Drivers who use Route H (Riverview) in the city of St. Louis may want to attend an open house style informational public meeting May 16 to discuss upcoming safety work on the roadway later this year.

The Missouri Department of Transportation will hold the open house-style public meeting to share information about the year-long project, which will reduce the number of driving lanes on the route from three to two and will include a median strip along much of the roadway, and add U-turn locations at the Adrian and Spring Garden Drive intersections.

The open house-style public meeting is 4-6:30 p.m. Thursday, May 16, at the Baden branch of the St. Louis City Library, 8488 Church Road, St. Louis, Missouri, 63147.

During the meeting, MoDOT engineers will share information about the project, schedule, and expected impacts to commuters for the project, and hear concerns from residents along the roadway.

Participants may attend at any time during the open house.

This meeting will allow the public to get information about the project and to provide comments, either directly to the engineers or in written comments, on potential impacts due to the construction of this project.
