JEFFERSON CITY - Rehabilitation of the U.S. Route 54 bridge over the Niangua Arm of the Lake of the Ozarks has been approved by the Highways and Transportation Commission. Commissioners awarded the project to St. Louis Bridge Construction Company, which submitted the low bid of $93,000.
Work on the bridge, located west of Camdenton, is expected to take place this summer. Most of the work will take place from the waterway, with little to no impact to traffic. Prior to the commencement of the project, MoDOT will alert the public about the project through signs, news releases and social media.
