St. Louis Work Zones for May 9 - 15

ST. LOUIS Starting next Monday, drivers heading into downtown will need to avoid the eastbound I-64 ramp to 6th Street (the last Missouri exit) as crews will close the ramp for eight days to replace joints on the ramp.

Crews will close the ramp after 9 a.m. Monday, May 13. The ramp should reopen by evening rush on May 21.

Detours will be marked; drivers can use 11th Street or 14th Street to get into the downtown area.

This Saturday, May 11, drivers can also expect several, short-term ramp closures:

  • The ramp from Kinghighway to westbound I-44 will close from 12 a.m. to 6 a.m. for pedestrian bridge work.
  • The ramp from eastbound I-70 to northbound I-270 and St. Charles Rock Road will close from 4 a.m. to 11 a.m. for pavement repairs
  • The ramp from northbound Route 141 to eastbound I-70 will close from 4 a.m. to 11 a.m. for pavement repairs.
  • The ramps from eastbound I-64 to Market/Bernard and Chestnut/20th and the ramps from westbound I-64 to 21st/Market and 3000 Market will close from 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. for the Girls on the Run 5K.

Motorists should be aware of the following on-going closures:

  • I-44, St. Louis City, the ramp from Grand to westbound I-44 is closed through June.
  • I-44, St. Louis, two westbound lanes closed from Grand to Macklind through December.
  • I-44, St. Louis City, one westbound lane closed from Macklind to Arsenal through December.
  • I-44, St. Louis City, two westbound lanes closed from Arsenal to Murdoch through mid-July.
  • I-44, St. Louis City, one eastbound lane closed from Murdoch to the River Des Peres through December.
  • I-44, St. Louis City, one eastbound lane closed from Hampton to Grand through December
  • I-44, St. Louis City, the ramp from Shrewsbury to eastbound I-44 is closed through mid-July.
  • I-44, St. Louis City, the ramp from Vandeventer to westbound I-44 is closed through December.
  • I-64, St. Louis City, the ramp from eastbound to 6th Street is closed, starting at 9 a.m. May 13, until May 21.
  • I-44, St. Louis County, one lane closed westbound between I-270 and Bowles through late 2021.
  • I-64, St. Louis County, one lane on the ramp from Hanley to eastbound I-64 is closed through late May 2019.
  • Route ZZ, Franklin County, the bridge at Boeuf Creek is closed until mid-August.
  • Route 110, Jefferson County, one lane is closed at Fischer Creek between Fischer Road and Upper Plattin Road until mid-July.
