TRAFFIC ALERT:

Southbound Route 65 Near Evans Road Reduced to ONE LANE Friday into Saturday, May 10-11

What: Southbound U.S. 65 reduced to ONE LANE south of Evans Road (Mile Marker 42)  

When: 9 p.m. Friday, May 10, until 10 a.m. Saturday, May 11. (If the work cannot be completed due to weather, it will be rescheduled to a later date.) 

Details: Contractor crews installing a drain pipe underneath Route 65. There will be times when there is little activity in the work zone as concrete and other materials are allowed to set up or harden. 

Traffic Impacts:

  • DELAYS ARE EXPECTED. Drivers urged to avoid the area until all three lanes are open to traffic.
  • Traffic congestion is expected on southbound Route 65 through the Route 60/65 interchange and on the eastbound Route 60-to-southbound Route 65 ramp.
  • Drivers urged to consider alternate routes if heading south toward Ozark and Branson
  • Electronic message boards located near the planned road work will alert drivers to any changes in the work schedule
  • Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts
