Resurfacing to begin on Nodaway County Routes E, EE and Nodaway/Atchison Route 46

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – The Missouri Department of Transportation has contracted with Herzog Contracting Corp. to resurface Nodaway County Routes E and EE and Nodaway/Atchison County Route 46 from U.S. Route 59 to the Nodaway River. Below are tentative resurfacing start dates with all work expected to be complete in November 2026.

Route E – Tuesday, Sept. 8.

Route EE – Monday, Sept. 14.

Route 46 – Monday, Sept. 23.

Traffic Impacts: The roadway will be narrowed to one lane with flaggers and pilot cars. Motorists should expect delays. A 10-foot width restriction will be in place.
