CLAY COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will close the southbound ramp to 169 Highway from Englewood Rd. beginning at 5 p.m. Thursday, May 16 and will remain close until 5 p.m. June 6 for ramp construction work. All work is weather dependent.
Motorist should follow the posted detour route of heading northbound on 169, exiting at 68th St. then turning around at the intersection, then traveling southbound to 169.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
