WEEKLY UPDATE:  Day and Nighttime Work Planned along I-435 from State Line Road to the Three Trails Crossing

JACKSON COUNTY –The Missouri Department of Transportation has scheduled several lane closures on eastbound and westbound I-435 between State Line Road and the Three Trails Crossing through the weekend and following week. This will be both daytime and nighttime work. Closures include:

Weekend Work: Beginning Friday, May 17 at 7:30 p.m. crews will CLOSE both “express” lanes on westbound I-435 from the Three Trails Crossing to State Line Road for new pavement construction. All lanes will be open by 6 p.m. on Saturday May 18.

 Daytime Work: Beginning Monday, May 20 at 6:30 a.m., crews will DAILY CLOSE the left lane of the “exit lanes” on eastbound I-435 from State Line Road to Three Trails Crossing. All lanes will open by 1 p.m. and will happen every day through Friday, May 24.

Nighttime Work: Beginning at 7:30 p.m. on both Monday, May 20 and Tuesday, May 21 crews will CLOSE BOTH of the “express” lanes on westbound I-435 from Three Trails Crossing to State Line Road for new pavement construction. All lanes will be open by 5 a.m.

All work is weather dependent.

This work is part of the I-435 South Loop Link project which will replace the bridges at Wornall and Holmes, rehabilitate the bridges at 104th Street and the Blue River, upgrade the pavement on I-435 which includes adding another lane.
