WESTPHALIA, Mo – The addition of new turn lanes in the area of the Route 63 and Route 133 intersection in Westphalia will reduce traffic to one lane beginning next week.
Contractors working on behalf of the Missouri Department of Transportation will close one lane of traffic on Route 63 beginning May 20 from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with work occasionally taking place over the weekend. Crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Improvements to Route 63 include the addition of northbound and southbound turn lanes onto Route 133. There will also be a left turn lane added from southbound Route 63 onto Main Street.
The project is scheduled to be completed in August. MoDOT appreciates the patience of travelers as work takes place.
