St. Louis Work Zones for May 23-29

ST. LOUIS – The Missouri Department of Transportation is limiting construction work on interstates and state highways to improve travel during the Memorial Day holiday weekend. Work on most construction projects that would impact travel lanes will stop at noon Friday, May 24 and resume at 9 a.m. Tuesday, May 28. Lane closures on the westbound I-255 Jefferson Barracks Bridge across the Mississippi River will be removed by 4 p.m. Friday, May 24 and will resume 9 a.m. Tuesday, May 28.

In addition, traffic will still be restricted in areas where there are permanent barriers such as I-44 bridgework throughout the city. If required, crews will also close lanes where needed for emergency maintenance.

For more on roadway closures due to construction, additional work zone information and real-time roadway weather conditions (including flood closures) go to http://traveler.modot.org/map.
