Route 61 in Pemiscot County Reduced for Sign Installation

Sikeston― Route 61 in Pemiscot County will be reduced to one lane with a 12-foot width restriction as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform sign installation.   

 This section of roadway is located from South Outer Road to County Road 439 near Steele, Missouri.   

 Weather permitting, work will take place Thursday, Aug. 27 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

The work zone will be marked with signs.  Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
