Route 94 Closes North of Jefferson City Due to Flooding

CALLAWAY COUNTY, Mo -- Route 94 in Callaway County, north of Jefferson City, is now closed due to water over the road east of the Route 63 interchange.

Flood waters have been rising in the area since the Missouri River crested early Friday. Flooding is expected to continue and it is not known when the Missouri Department of Transportation will be able to reopen the roadway.

MoDOT says travelers should use an alternate route and never drive through flooded roads.

Motorists can find all closed roads in the Central District and other flooding information at modot.org/central-district-flooding-information, on the MoDOT Traveler Information Map, or by calling 1-888-ASK-MoDOT (275-6636).
