CLOSING TOMORROW MORNING U.S. Route 24 Quincy Memorial Bridge

HANNIBAL - The Missouri Department of Transportation, in cooperation with the Illinois Department of Transportation, will close the Quincy Memorial Bridge on U.S. Route 24 in West Quincy due to flooding tomorrow morning around 7 a.m.  Detours will be set to direct traffic.

There are several roads flooded and closed in Missouri including MO 79 near Continenental Cement, several other locations along MO 79 between Louisiana and Winfield, and U.S. Route 54 at the Champ Clark Bridge.

There are several other roads that have opened up today originally closed due to flash flooding in the counties of Adair, Knox, Monroe, and Shelby.  Your best source of information is MoDOT's online traveler information map at www.modot.org.
