St. Louis Work Zones for May 30-June 5

ST. LOUISDrivers who use I-44 near I-270, Route 141 in Valley Park, Lindbergh at Dorsett/Midland or Vandeventer under I-44 regularly should be aware of work that will impact those roadways this weekend.

Crews will close all lanes of eastbound and westbound I-44 between I-270 and Geyer Road to remove the westbound Route 366 (Watson Road) bridge over I-44, starting at 7 p.m. Friday, May 31, with all lanes closed by 8 p.m. In addition, the westbound Route 366 bridge will close, starting at 7 p.m. Friday, May 31. Detours through the work zone will be marked.

Additionally, crews will close two lanes of northbound Route 141 at the Meramec River starting at all 7 p.m. Friday, May 31. They will close one lane southbound at 7 p.m., and will close a second southbound lane at 9 p.m. In addition, crews will close the turn lane from northbound Route 141 to Forest Avenue. Traffic on Forest will be able to turn onto northbound Route 141 and use the ThrU Turn to travel on southbound Route 141.

On Lindbergh, crews will close Lindbergh at Dorsett/Midland at 8 p.m. Friday, May 31 to remove the Dorsett/Midland bridge over the roadway. Traffic will be routed up and over the ramps at Dorsett Road during the closure.

Finally, crews will close Vandeventer under I-44 to demolish the bridge, starting at 8 p.m. Friday, May 31 Drivers will be able to get from eastbound I-44 on the north side of Vandeventer, and to and from westbound I-44 on the south side of Vandeventer, but will not be able to cross under the interstate. Detours will be marked.

Drivers passing through these areas should allow themselves extra time to get to their destination, and may want to consider alternate routes.

The westbound Route 366 Bridge will remain closed until November. All other lanes will reopen by 5 a.m. Monday, June 3.

  • I-44, St. Louis, two westbound lanes closed from Grand to Macklind through December.
  • I-44, St. Louis City, one westbound lane closed from Macklind to Arsenal through December.
  • I-44, St. Louis City, two westbound lanes closed from Arsenal to Murdoch through mid-July.
  • I-44, St. Louis City, one eastbound lane closed from Murdoch to the River Des Peres through December.
  • I-44, St. Louis City, one eastbound lane closed from Hampton to Grand through December
  • I-44, St. Louis City, the ramp from Shrewsbury to eastbound I-44 is closed through mid-July.
  • I-44, St. Louis City, the ramp from Vandeventer to westbound I-44 is closed through December.
  • I-44, St. Louis County, one lane closed westbound between I-270 and Bowles through late 2021.
  • I-64, St. Louis County, one lane on the ramp from Hanley to eastbound I-64 is closed through Friday.
  • Route 67, St. Louis County, the Dorsett-Midland bridge over Lindbergh is closed until September.
  • Route 109, St. Louis County, the left turn lane is closed on the bridge over Route 100 until summer 2020.
  • Route 366, St. Louis County, the westbound ramp to westbound I-44 and northbound and southbound I-270 is closed through November.
  • Route 370, St. Charles County, one left lane eastbound and westbound closed through fall.
  • Route ZZ, Franklin County, the bridge at Boeuf Creek is closed until mid-August.
  • Route 110, Jefferson County, one lane is closed at Fischer Creek between Fischer Road and Upper Plattin Road until mid-July.
