JACKSON COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will be conducting paving work along southbound Interstate 470 between Strother Rd. and Douglas St. on Wednesday, May 29. Work will begin at 7 p.m. and will last until approximately 5 a.m. the following morning. This will require:
- The CLOSURE of the left lane along southbound I-470 from Strother Rd. to Douglas St.
- The CLOSURE of the exit ramp from southbound I-470 to southbound Route 291.
All work is weather permitting. Not all closures will happen at once. Work is anticipated to begin near Woods Chapel and Strother Roads and the continue on.
