JACKSON COUNTY – Overnight permit work by Evergy will result in the closure of EB and WB I-70 at the crossing west of Adams Dairy Pkwy for utility operations beginning at approx. 11 p.m. on Thursday, August 6 until 11:30 p.m. The MSHP will assist with temporary rolling stops. All work is weather permitting.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be short-term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
