UPDATE--Due to a levee breach upstream, the Chester Bridge will remain open through 10 a.m. Sunday, June 2, 2019. As conditions change, we will continue to share updates.

SIKESTON – Based on current river levels, the Missouri Department of Transportation anticipates closing the Route 51 Chester Bridge across the Mississippi River at noon Saturday, June 1. This bridge links Perry County, Missouri, to Randolph County, Illinois. Please seek alternate routes to travel from Missouri to Illinois.
