JACKSON COUNTY –MoDOT Kansas City will be continuing its construction work at the I-435 and I-70 interchange this week. This work includes ramp closures and a rolling slowdown along both directions of I-70 and I-435. This work will have impacts to traffic. Motorists are advised to plan ahead, leave early, or consider an alternate route. All work is weather permitting.
Daily Work Monday, June 3 through Friday, June 7
- The left lane of the exit ramp from northbound I-435 to Stadium Drive will be closed for bridge construction daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Monday, June 3, through Friday, June 7.
Overnight Work Monday, June 3 through Thursday, June 6
- The right lane of westbound I-70 from Stadium Drive to I-435 will be closed OVERNIGHT for grading work from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following mornings starting Tuesday, June 4, through Thursday, June 6.
- The exit ramp from northbound I-435 to eastbound I-70 will be closed OVERNIGHT for paving work beginning Monday, June 3, until Thursday, June 6 from 8 p.m. each evening to 5 a.m. the following mornings.
- The right lane of northbound I-435 from Raytown Rd. to Stadium Dr. will be closed OVERNIGHT for pavement work beginning on Tuesday, June 4, until Thursday, June 6 from 7 p.m. each evening until 5 a.m. the following mornings.
- There will be rolling slowdowns in all directions along both I-435 and I-70 place beginning at approximately 7:15 p.m. each evening starting Monday, June 4, through Wednesday, June 5. The slowdown should only last about five minutes.
