Guardrail Work Scheduled Near I-70 and I-470 Interchange June 6

JACKSON COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will be working on guardrail near the I-70 and I-470/Route 291 interchange on Thursday, June 6 beginning at 7 p.m. until approximately 5 a.m. the following morning. This work will require the closure of various ramps and lanes in the area. All work is weather permitting.

  • This work will:
  • CLOSE the eastbound I-70 ramp to southbound I-470.
  • CLOSE the auxiliary lane from eastbound I-70 to the ramp towards southbound I-470.
  • CLOSE the southbound I-470 off ramp to U.S. Highway 40.
