JACKSON COUNTY –The Missouri Department of Transportation has updated the scheduled lane closures on eastbound and westbound I-435 between State Line Road and the Three Trails Crossing for this week. This includes both daytime and nighttime work. Closures include:
- Daily through Friday, June 7, crews will CLOSE the I-435 westbound “express” lane from the Three Trails Crossing to State Line Road from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. for new pavement construction.
- ADDED: Wednesday, June 5 and Thursday, June 6, crews will CLOSE the right lane of the “express” lanes on eastbound I-435 between Holmes Road and Three Trails Crossing from 6:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. for pavement construction.
- Wednesday night, June 5, crews will CLOSE BOTH “express” lanes of eastbound I-435 from State Line Road and Three Trails Crossing from 7:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. for bridge reconstruction
All work is weather dependent.

This work is part of the I-435 South Loop Link project which will replace the bridges at Wornall and Holmes, rehabilitate the bridges at 104th Street and the Blue River, upgrade the pavement on I-435 which includes adding another lane.
