Resurfacing Project Set to Begin on Warren County Route W

MACON – Weather permitting, Monday, June 10, a resurfacing project on Warren County Route W is set to begin. The project will go from the Warren County Route A to Interstate 70 North Outer Road, for a total length of approximately 9 miles.

“Crews will be putting a new 1-inch asphalt overlay that will improve the surface for motorists,” said MoDOT Area Engineer Erik Maninga.

Traffic will be reduced to one lane through the work zone while the work is completed. A pilot car will be used to move traffic through the work zone. Construction signing is in place to warn motorists of the work.

Please remember to obey all work zone signs and personnel, and put down your cell phone to help eliminate distractions.

Mid-River Asphalt, of Troy, Missouri, was awarded the contract in the amount of $519,378. They have 30 calendar days to complete the project.
