NOW OPEN: Third Fork Platte River Bridge on U.S. Route 169 near Union Star

UNION STAR, Mo. – The Third Fork Platte River Bridge on U.S. Route 169 east of Union Star is now open. The old bridge, which had served motorists since 1931, was replaced and brought up to current standards by contractors from Boone Construction, Co., working with the Missouri Department of Transportation. The bridge opened yesterday, June 9, 2019. It had been closed since April 1, 2019.
