Temporary Traffic Signal at Fulton State Hospital to be Removed

FULTON – A traffic signal installed at Route O & Wood Street in Fulton as part of a transitory traffic situation will be removed next week.

The Missouri Department of Transportation approved the temporary signal as a means to ease the increase in traffic volume as construction of the new Fulton State Hospital took place and to address safety concerns with large trucks entering and exiting the work site.

Crews will be removing the signal on Thursday, June 13, weather permitting. Removal of the signal will have a minimal impact on traffic.
