JACKSON COUNTY – Due to inclement weather, the Missouri Department of Transportation has rescheduled paving work along westbound I-470 between U.S. Highway 50 and View High Drive. The work be starting at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 11 Wednesday, June 12, until approximately 5 a.m. the following morning. The paving work includes a right lane closure along westbound I-470 in the area. Additionally, the following ramps will be closed:
- The westbound U.S. Highway 50 on ramp to westbound I-470.
- The westbound I-470 off ramp to eastbound U.S. Highway 50.
- The eastbound U.S. Highway 50 ramp to westbound I-470.
- The on ramp from Pryor Rd. to westbound I-470.
- Both of the ramps to and from View High Dr. and westbound I-470.
This work will impact overnight motorists. Motorists must find alternate routes during this time. All work is weather permitting.
