TARKIO, Mo – Crews from the Missouri Department of Transportation will resurface U.S. Route 59 (10th Street) in the city of Tarkio between Park Street and Chestnut Street beginning tomorrow.
Between 7:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Thursday, June 13, and Friday, June 14, crews will close one lane of 10th Street to lay down a new road surface. Flaggers will be in place to direct traffic through the work zone. Side streets between Park and Chestnut will not be able to access 10th Street during this time. In order to avoid delays, motorists are advised to seek an alternate route.
