Details for Work Planned along I-435 from State Line Road to the Three Trails Crossing Next Week

JACKSON COUNTY –The Missouri Department of Transportation has scheduled several lane closures on eastbound and westbound I-435 between State Line Road and the Three Trails Crossing starting tomorrow that will last through the week. This will be both daytime and nighttime work. Closures include:

Daytime Work

  • Saturday, June 15: Crews will CLOSE both “express lanes” on eastbound I-435 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. for new pavement construction.
  • Monday, June 17 and Wednesday, June 19: Crews will daily CLOSE the right lane of the “express” lanes on eastbound I-435 from Holmes to Three Trails Crossing from 6:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. daily for new pavement construction.
  • Tuesday, June 18, Thursday, June 20 and Friday, June 21: Crews will CLOSE the “express lane” on westbound I-435 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. for new pavement construction. TMS #424556

 Nighttime Work

  • Monday, June 17, Wednesday, June 19 through Friday, June 21: Crews will CLOSE both “express lanes” on eastbound I-435 from 7:30 p.m. to 5 a.m for new pavement construction.
  • Tuesday, June 18 and Thursday, June 20: Crews will CLOSE the “express” lane and the left lane of the “exit” lanes on westbound I-435 from 7:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. for new pavement construction.

All work is weather dependent.

This work is part of the I-435 South Loop Link project which will replace the bridges at Wornall and Holmes, rehabilitate the bridges at 104th Street and the Blue River, upgrade the pavement on I-435 which includes adding another lane.
