Where: Newton County Route H Lane Closure between Palm Road and just north of Newton County Route D, north of Boulder City
When: Beginning Wednesday, July 15, for up to 90 days
What: Contractor crews are replacing a culvert underneath an entrance just off Route H. This project also includes removing an existing culvert on Newton County Route NN, which will begin at a later date. A news release will be issued as the start date approaches.
Traffic Impacts:
- Newton County Route H Lane Closure between Palm Road and just north of Newton County Route D, north of Boulder City
- Traffic will be controlled by temporary signals alternating traffic through the work zone
- Drivers urged to find alternate routes
- No signed detours planned
- Signs and message boards will alert drivers approaching the work zone
- Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closures/traffic impacts
Weather and/or construction delays could alter the work schedule.
