MoDOT Holding Online Public Briefing for Deane Creek Bridge Project in Miller County

MILLER COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation is holding an online public meeting from Wednesday, June 19 until Monday, July 2 to share information about an upcoming project that will make improvements to the Miller County Route C bridge over Deane Creek.

The project is being let in September in required combination with the rehabilitation of the Minnow Brook Creek bridge on Route D in Camden County. The work will require the road to be closed for up to 45 days while work takes place. Crews will replace the deck and add safety improvements such as guardrails to the ends of the bridge.

The Deane Creek bridge is located 3.5 miles south of Route 42 and was built in 1966.

More information about the project is available at modot.org/modot-central-district. An online comment form is also available on the project website for customers who would like to provide feedback.

If you would like more information about the project or the community briefing, please contact Transportation Project Manager Ryan Libbert at (573) 522-5265  or at ryan.libbert@modot.mo.gov.
