Lane and Ramp Closures Scheduled for I-470 on June 20

JACKSON COUNTY –The Missouri Department of Transportation will be doing paving work along a portion of both eastbound and westbound I-470. The work will be starting at 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 20, until approximately 5 a.m. the following morning. The paving work includes a left lane closure along westbound I-470 between View High Drive and Raytown Rd. Eastbound I-470 will have a left lane closure from View High Drive to the Cedar Creek Bridge. Additionally, the following ramps will be closed:

  • Both westbound I-470 on and off ramps at View High Drive.
  • The Raytown Rd. on ramp to westbound I-470.
  • The Raytown Rd. on ramp to eastbound I-470.
  • The View High Drive on ramp to eastbound I-470.

This work will impact overnight motorists. Motorists must find alternate routes during this time. All work is weather permitting.
