HANNIBAL - Weather permitting, MoDOT will be the following work in Lewis County. Please see the dates and locations below.
Lewis County Route J – June 24, the road will be closed from Dogwood Ave. to 250th St. for a culvert replacement. The work will be completed between 7:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Lewis County Missouri Route 81 – June 25-26, the road will be closed from 310th Ave. to Orange St. for a culvert replacement. The work will be completed between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Lewis County U.S. Route 61 Southbound – June 25, the road will be reduced to one lane traffic from one mile north of Missouri Route 16 to the intersection of U.S. 61 and Missouri Route 16 for traffic counter work. The work will be completed between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Lewis County U.S. Route 61 Northbound – June 26, the road will be reduced to one lane traffic from one mile north of Missouri Route 16 to the intersection of U.S. 61 and Missouri Route 16 for traffic counter work. The work will be completed between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Motorists will need to use alternate routes during these times. Please remember to obey all work zone signs and personnel, and put down your cell phone to help eliminate distractions.
This work is weather dependent and could be rescheduled or delayed. When traveling through work zones this summer, traffic flow may be merged to one lane.
