CLAY COUNTY – Due to inclement weather, crews for the Missouri Department of Transportation have cancelled the following work. All work is weather dependent.
Crews will close 2 lanes of northbound I-435 between Route 210 and Parvin Rd. from 7 p.m. Friday, June 21 through 2 p.m. Saturday, June 22 for pavement repair work
Crews will close the right lane of southbound I-435 between 48th St. and Route 210 from 8 p.m. Friday, June 21 through 3 p.m. Saturday, June 22 for pavement repair work
Crews will close the ramp from northbound I-435 to Parvin Rd. from 10 p.m. Friday, June 21 through 1 p.m. Saturday, June 22 for pavement repair work
Crews will close the ramp from Parvin Rd. to southbound I-435 from 10 p.m. Friday, June 21 until 1 p.m. Saturday, June 22 for pavement repair work
Crews will close 2 lanes of northbound I-435 between Route 210 and Parvin Rd. from 7 p.m. Saturday, June 22 through 7 a.m. Sunday, June 23 for pavement repair work
This is all part of a project to build a new diverging diamond interchange for I-435 and Route 210, which includes replacing the old twin bridges over I-435 and Route 210 and widening I-435. All work is weather dependent.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
