JACKSON COUNTY –MoDOT Kansas City will continue construction at the I-435 and I-70 interchange this week. This work includes ramp and lane closures along both directions of I-70 and I-435. This work will have impacts to traffic. Motorists are advised to plan ahead, leave early, or consider an alternate route. All work is weather permitting.
Daily Work Monday, June 24, through Friday, June 28
- The left lane of the exit ramp from northbound I-435 to Stadium Drive will be closed for bridge construction daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Monday, June 24, through Friday, June 28.
- The left lane of westbound I-70 from Stadium Drive to I-435 will be CLOSED for bridge construction daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. beginning on Tuesday, June 25 until Thursday, June 27.
Overnight Work Sunday, June 23 through Friday, June 28
- The left lane of the exit ramp from northbound I-435 to Stadium Drive will be closed for bridge construction daily from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. from Sunday, June 23, as well as Tuesday, June 25 through Friday, June 28.
- The left lane of southbound I-435 from I-70 to Stadium Drive will be closed for material hauling overnight from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Sunday, June 23 until Thursday, June 27.
- The right lane of westbound I-70 from Stadium Drive to I-435 will be CLOSED for material hauling nightly from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning on Sunday, June 23, until Thursday, June 27.
- The exit ramp from northbound I-435 to eastbound I-70 will be closed OVERNIGHT for paving work on Wednesday, June 26 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning.
- The exit ramp from eastbound I-70 to Blue Ridge Cutoff will be CLOSED for pavement work OVERNIGHT on Wednesday, June 26, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning.
- The exit ramp from eastbound I-70 to southbound I-435 will be CLOSED for pavement work OVERNIGHT on Thursday, June 27, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the next morning.
- Northbound I-435 will be reduced to ONE LANE from Raytown R. to I-70 for pavement work OVERNIGHT beginning at 8 p.m. until 8 a.m. the following morning on Friday, June 28.
- The exit ramp from northbound I-435 to eastbound I-70 will be CLOSED for paving work OVERNIGHT beginning at 8 p.m. on Friday, June 28. This ramp will be reopened when work is completed sometime on Saturday.
