Bridge Deck Work Will CLOSE Bridges, Lanes, and Ramps at Three Trails Crossing Overnight June 25

JACKSON COUNTY – Due to inclement weather, the Missouri Department of Transportation has rescheduled some bridge deck work near Three Trails Crossing (Grandview Triangle) interchange in Jackson County. This work will CLOSE several bridges, lanes, and ramps in the interchange overnight beginning at 9 p.m. Tuesday, June 25 until 5 a.m. the following morning. This work will have impacts to overnight motorists. Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead and find alternate routes if necessary. Bridge Work Includes:

  • Crews will close the two right most lanes of eastbound I-470 and eastbound I-435 connecting ramp to eastbound I-470.
  • The ramp from northbound I-49 to eastbound I-470 will be CLOSED.
    • This will require the closure of the left lane along northbound I-49. All ramp traffic will continue onto westbound I-435.
  • The ramp from southbound I-435 to eastbound I-470 will be
    • There will be a single right lane closure along the ramp from southbound I-435/eastbound I-435 to eastbound I-470 leading up to the ramp closure. All traffic will have to continue onto southbound I-49.
  • There will be a single left lane closure along eastbound I-470/I-435 connecting ramp to eastbound I-470.
