ST. LOUIS – Drivers who use Route 141 near Manchester Road may want to consider alternate routes June 27-July 1 as MoDOT will have roadwork impacting the route for work on the Manchester and Grand Glaize bridges.
During the work, only one lane in both directions will be open. All work is weather dependent and may be shifted due to inclement weather.
Crews will close the left lanes of northbound and southbound Route 141 at Route 100 (Manchester Road) starting at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 27. The left lanes will reopen by 6 a.m. Friday, June 28.
Crews will close the right lanes on northbound and southbound Route 141 near Route 100 at 7 p.m. Friday, June 28. At least one lane will remain open northbound and southbound at all times across the bridge. Those lanes are scheduled to reopen by 5 a.m. Monday, July 1.
During the closures, crews will place a preventative maintenance overlay on the two bridges.
Although traffic will still be able to travel northbound and southbound across the bridge, drivers can expect slower travel and may want to allow extra time, or use I-270 as an alternate route. Drivers will still be able to access both eastbound and westbound Route 100 from Route 141 in both directions.
