SIKESTON - Route U in New Madrid County will be reduced with a 9-foot width restriction as contractor crews perform milling and paving repairs.
This section of roadway is located between Route 61 and Route WW.
Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, July 1 through Friday, July 12 from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
