MACON – Individuals will soon be able to view the traffic traveling through the intersection of U.S. Route 61 and Missouri Route 47 in Troy. A new traffic camera will be installed so that traffic will be visible through the Traveler Information Map, and a map app is available for free download at www.modot.org.
“These types of cameras not only allow us to see potential traffic impacts, but the public can view it as well,” said Traffic Operations Engineer Rob Frese.
This camera will allow MoDOT to better monitor and handle reoccurring congestion in this area.
