JACKSON COUNTY –MoDOT Kansas City will continue construction at the I-435 and I-70 interchange this week. This work includes ramp and lane closures along both directions of I-70 and I-435. This work will have impacts to traffic. Motorists are advised to plan ahead, leave early, or consider an alternate route. All work is weather permitting.
Daily Work Monday, July 1 through Wednesday, July 3
- The left lane of westbound I-70 from Stadium Drive to I-435 will be CLOSED for bridge construction DAILY from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on both Monday, July 1 and Tuesday, July 2. Additionally, the lane will also be closed on Wednesday, July 3, from 9 a.m. to noon.
Overnight Work Monday, July 1 through Wednesday, July 3
- The right lane of westbound I-70 from Stadium Drive to I-435 will be closed for material hauling NIGHTLY on both Monday, July 1 and Tuesday, July 2 from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning.
- The right lane of southbound I-435 from U.S. Highway 40 to Stadium Drive will be closed for material hauling NIGHTLY on both Monday, July 1 and Tuesday, July 2 from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning.
- The exit ramp from northbound I-435 to eastbound I-70 will be closed NIGHTLY for pavement work on both Monday, July 1 and Tuesday, July 2 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning.
- Northbound I-435 will be reduced to ONE LANE from approximately Eastwood Trafficway to Stadium Drive for pavement construction OVERNIGHT on Monday, July 1, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning.
- The exit ramp from eastbound I-70 to Blue Ridge Cutoff will be closed for pavement work OVERNIGHT on Tuesday, July 2, beginning at 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. the following morning.
