SIKESTON - Route 142 in Oregon and Ripley Counties will be reduced with a 10 foot width restriction as contractor crews overlay the roadway and add rumble strips.
This section of roadway is located from Route EE in Oregon County to Route 21 in Ripley County.
Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, July 8 through Tuesday, Oct. 1 from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
