RUSHVILLE, Mo. – Pavement repairs have narrowed U.S. Route 59 near the town of Halls. Local maintenance crews from the Missouri Department of Transportation have closed one lane of U.S. Route 59 for concrete replacement in preparation for a planned overlay project. The lane will remain closed overnight and should reopen before 6 a.m. Friday, July 12. Temporary traffic signals are in place to direct traffic around the work.
The signals will be in place near Rushville next week on Monday, July 17 and Tuesday, July 18 for concrete replacement.
Motorists should be alert and follow all construction signs and message boards. All work is weather permitting and schedules are subject to change. MoDOT encourages all motorists to slow down, buckle up, eliminate distractions and drive safely through work zones to ensure everyone is able to Arrive Alive.
