JACKSON COUNTY –The Missouri Department of Transportation will be doing pavement work along northbound and southbound I-470/Route 291 and Woods Chapel Rd. beginning at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 10, until 5 a.m. the following morning. This work will require various lane and ramp closures. All work is weather permitting and includes the following:
- All four of the ramps to and from I-470 and Woods Chapel Rd. will be closed for paving for a portion of the evening. The exact time will vary.
- Woods Chapel Rd. over I-470 will be reduced to one lane for paving.
- There will be paving work where northbound I-470 and northbound Route 291 merge. This will require the closure of the northbound Route 291 ramp to eastbound/northbound I-470.
This work will impact overnight motorists. Motorists must find alternate routes during this time. All work is weather permitting.
