LEE’S SUMMIT, MO – The Missouri Department of Transportation will be performing maintenance work throughout the Kansas City region from June 8 through June 12. All work is weather permitting.
JACKSON COUTNY
Truman Rd. westbound to 12th St. northbound: road closed from Monday, June 8 until Wednesday, June 10, from approximately 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. daily, for ditch work.
Missouri Route 350 westbound between Raytown Rd. and Gregory Blvd.: right lane closed on Tuesday, June 9, from approximately 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., for brush cutting.
JOHNSON COUNTY
Missouri Route 23 between NE 1125 Rd. and NE 950 Rd.: flagging operations from Monday, June 8 until Friday, June 12, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for ditch work.
Route 23: flagging operations from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pavement work
- Monday, June 8 and Tuesday, June 9: between NE 700 Rd. and NE 310 Rd.
- Wednesday, June 10: between NE 500 Rd. and NE 250 Rd.
- Thursday, June 11: between NE 500 RD. and NE 175 Rd.
LAFAYETTE COUNTY
Route T at Rehkop Rd.: flagging operation on Monday, June 8, from approximately 8 a.m. until 4 p.m., for pavement repair work.
PETTIS COUNTY
Route Z between Route N and Cooper Co. line.: flagging operations from Monday, June 8 until Wednesday, June 10, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pavement work.
Route N between Route J and end of state maintenance: flagging operations on Wednesday, June 10 and Thursday, June 11, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for pavement work.
SALINE COUNTY
Route 240 between Route 41 south and Glasgow: flagging operations from Monday, June 8 until Thursday, June 11, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pavement work.
MoDOT maintenance crews often perform other tasks throughout the work week such as pothole patching, litter pick-up, sign repairs, brush cutting, and other operations that are not included above as they pose limited impacts to traffic.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
