Cuivre River State Park in Troy Roads To Be Resurfaced Starting Next Week

Some Roads Will Be Closed

HANNIBAL – The Missouri Department of Transportation and its contractor, Mid River Asphalt, will repair a slide and begin resurfacing the week of July 15 in Cuivre River State Park in Troy.  “The slide repair is on Lincoln Hills Road  from the visitor’s center to the boat ramp, so that road will be closed for several weeks,” said Erik Maninga, MoDOT area engineer.  There will be a lot of pavement repair and other work, then resurfacing, on Lincoln Hills Road as part of the work.

Camp Avery road will be resurfaced at the same time and will be closed to traffic.

“We encourage users of the park to follow the signs or contact the park before you go in to get directions,” Maninga added.

The cost of the project is just over $890,000 and is being paid for by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources.
