I-70 and I-435 Interchange Construction Continues Next Week

JACKSON COUNTY –MoDOT Kansas City will continue construction at the I-435 and I-70 interchange this week. This work includes lane closures along both directions of I-70. This will have impacts to traffic. Motorists are advised to plan ahead, leave early, or consider an alternate route. All work is weather permitting.

  • The left lane of westbound I-70 from Stadium Drive to I-435 will be CLOSED for bridge construction DAILY beginning Monday, July 15, through Friday, July 19 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • The right lane of westbound I-70 from Stadium Drive to I-435 will be closed for material hauling NIGHTLY from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Sunday, July 14, through Thursday, July 18.
