HANNIBAL - Good news for Clark County travelers as crews from the Missouri Department of Transportation were able to reopen Route P and Route F after floodwaters receded and the roadway was cleared.
Only three roadways in the Northeast District continue to remain closed due to flooding including Route P out of Elsberry, Route M south of Elsberry and Route N near Winfield, all of which are in Lincoln County near the Mississippi River.
Please consult the Traveler Information Map to see all roadway impacts and closures and plan your route. When traveling through work zones this summer, traffic flow may be merged to one lane. Take turns and merge like a zipper for faster and smoother traffic flow. For additional information on the zipper merge method, watch the video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TLAISm1XuHQ. For more information on work zones, call MoDOT at 888-ASK-MoDOT (275-6636) or visit www.modot.org to receive the latest statewide news and text alert or sign up for e-updates.
