Nodaway County Route U closed until further notice for culvert replacement

St. Joseph, Mo. – Nodaway County Route U, south of Maryville, will remain closed until further notice. Crews from the Missouri Department of Transportation closed the roadway today, Thursday, May 21, to repair a culvert, but it will have to be replaced. A timeline and reopening date will be provided when delivery of the new culvert is determined.

Traffic Impacts: Route U is closed between northbound U.S. Route 71 and Jet Road until further notice. Motorists should seek an alternate route.
